Food Justice and Veganism

Join the Penn Vegan Society at the Penn Women's Center on Monday, January 22 at 6 pm. This event is centered around the intersection (and non-intersection) of food justice and veganism. This discussion-based, interactive event will be led by Lila Bhide, coordinator for the Penn Community Garden. Lila will discuss the ethics of veganism in regard to workers within our food system, as well as who has access to veganism and who may be limited from it. This event is open to everyone and we welcome you to bring your voice to this discussion. Vegan snacks from local businesses will be provided. Hope to see you there!
